Metapolis, Studio Thomas Willemse and Endeavour won the open call in 2017 for this master plan in the centre of Lint, a municipality on the southern edge of Antwerp.
The social housing company De Ideale Woning wants to renovate and densify its outdated housing stock with more housing and a more diverse offer that also includes private housing.

The master plan foresees a densification of living accompanied by an increase in public and collective space. How do you prepare (future) residents for this change?

Endeavour conducted a workshop with residents and neighbours to investigate the potential of this transition, focusing on collective and public space.

Finally, it examined the preconditions for private development so that it would fit into the collective narrative of the master plan.
